Scarves, hats, gloves, shawls
My mom called one day and asked if I could make her a small pouch to carry her cell phone in that would hang around her neck. She sometimes has trouble hearing it ring when it’s in her pocket so she thought if it was closer to her head she would hear it better. She loves it and wants me to make her some more in different colors! I made this one out of Bernat Blanket yarn so it’s very soft against your skin.
A friend of mine on Facebook, tagged me in a post showing a pair of crocheted fingerless Dragon Gloves. From that tagged post, another friend of mine from Arkansas, Mary, messaged me and asked if I could make her a pair of them in the colors of the Army. Her daughter is a student at West Point.
I was happy to oblige and got to learn a new stitch in the process! Here is the finished product.
A friend of mine, Rob, saw some of my crochet madness and asked if I could make him a Kraken Hat. Well, of course, I could! I found the pattern here Ravelry: Twisted Kraken hat pattern by Natalie Allen. After I finished this one, a friend of Rob’s saw it and ordered an identical one.
